About One House Marketing

Built by people who build things.

We’re a family-run team that only works with home service companies: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and restoration. Leaders who still do the work, a full team behind every department, no jargon in the reporting, and work that has to keep earning its place.

The people who plan your marketing are the people who build it, from the first call through the tenth month.

Our Story

We got tired of watching good companies lose to worse websites.

One House started because we kept meeting the same business owner: excellent at the trade, twenty years of loyal customers, a five-star reputation in town, and invisible online. Meanwhile a two-year-old competitor with slick ads and a thin website was taking the calls.

So we built the agency we wished those owners had. One that treats a website like a structure: foundation first, then the framing, then the finish work. One that reports in calls booked, not impressions. One that says no to industries it doesn’t understand.

Today we run local search, content, and AI visibility programs for home service companies across the country, still small on purpose, still answering our own phones.

1996

The roots

Our story starts inside a home service company that had been serving customers since 1996. We learned the trades from the inside before we ever marketed one.

Jan 2026

A brand of our own

We parted ways and launched One House Marketing: the same people and the same playbook, with our own name on the door.

Feb 2026

Nationwide, but small

We are selective on purpose. Clients in more than a dozen states, and our average client relationship runs five-plus years.

Mar 2026

AI visibility becomes core

ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini started sending real leads. We built a dedicated GEO practice around it.

HOW WE WORK

Four Rules We Don’t Bend

They cost us business sometimes. We keep them anyway.

Rule 1: Straight numbers, even when they sting.

Your report shows calls, booked jobs and cost per lead by channel, in plain numbers you can read in a minute. When something is not working you hear it from us first, and the budget moves to what is. No vanity metrics, no fifty-page PDFs, no spin.

Rule 2: You can always reach the people doing the work.

No account-manager layer translating your business back to you. The leaders here still build campaigns, write pages, and run audits themselves, and each one has a team that knows the trades top to bottom.

Rule 3: One company per trade, per market.

We will not run your playbook for your competitor across town. If your market is taken, we say so and part as friends. Exclusivity has cost us plenty of business. It has never cost us a client’s trust.

Rule 4: Nothing that risks your reputation.

No bought links, no fake reviews, no shortcuts that trade your long-term rankings for a quarter of quick wins. We build things that last, which is the whole name of the company.

FIT CHECK

We’re Not for Everyone

The honest version, so nobody wastes a discovery call.

GREAT FIT

You’ll get a lot out of this

You run an HVAC, electrical, roofing, or plumbing company.

You have crews and capacity, and you want more of the right calls.

You want to talk to the people doing the work, not a rotating account team.

You can give fifteen minutes to review a page before it publishes.

You’d rather see steady compounding growth than a spike and a stall.

NOT A FIT

We’ll point you elsewhere

You need results in two weeks. Technical fixes move fast; content and citations don’t.

You’re outside the trades. We’d be guessing, and you deserve better.

You want the cheapest possible retainer with no involvement.

You want us to buy links or game reviews. We won’t risk your business for a quarter of gains.

You already have an in-house team and just need extra hands on production.

What It Adds Up To

One House Marketing wordmark

one team, one plan, one number to call

The name isn’t decoration.

Most owners we meet have a website from one vendor, ads from another, and reviews handled by nobody. Nothing points the same direction. One House means every piece of your marketing gets built on the same foundation, by the same team, toward the same goal: more of the right calls, from the customers in your service area.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Tell us your trade and your market. We’ll audit what you have, show you where you stand against your top competitors, and tell you honestly whether we’re the right team for it.
